This event is about building relationships with the students and the leaders. This event strengthens the relationship between students and leader while at the same time, provides students the opportunity to invite friends to an event. This helps build bridges between the church and potentially unsaved, unchurched people who might never attend a church sponsored event.

On Family Sundays, which are the fifth Sundays of each month, we are so pleased to welcome kids third grade and up! This is a special time for them to see what it's like in big church. Parents, you can use this as an opportunity to teach kids about the various parts of the service, from the worship singing, to the offering, the prayer and the message from God's word!
It's incredibly invigorating and encouraging for a church body when a fellow believer testifies to the incredible saving power of God through being baptized! Your next chance to partake in this amazing statement of faith in Jesus Christ is Sunday, September 30. Please sign up for baptism today!

Awana is like small groups for kids. Each Sunday night, kids will meet together, sharing a time of fun, spending intentional time in God's word and growing relationships with each other and with the adult volunteers. This is the best way for kids to grow into the church community. We do all of this while teaching kids that learning about scripture is fun!
We are getting ready to get some work done on our building, and we need to make sure that all who are planning to participate in the actual building/construction work are on the same page and catch the same vision. We will discuss project plans, scope and more. We're moving forward trusting God as we follow Him!
Can't wait to meet you all and see how God has differently skilled and gifted each of you!
Follow the button below to get signed up, and fill out your skill sets and any certifications you may have.

WON'T YOU BE A NEIGHBOR?
NEIGHBORS INTERNATIONAL is an all volunteer organization from Calvary Church that is partnering with Wellspring to offer friendship and care to the international college students of Grand Rapids.
WHAT DO WE DO?
Neighbors International serves seven of our local colleges and universities offering Friendship Families and individuals to all of their international college students. This is where you are needed for the incoming fall students.
WHAT IS OUR GOAL?
Our goal is to ensure that no international college student who chooses to make Grand Rapids their home will face loneliness, hunger, cold or lack of love.
WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT?
We ask that you get together with your assigned student at least once a month and call them at least once a week. Obviously the more you get together the greater the friendship and impact you can make on their lives.
