Imagine

I don't know about you, but it feels like we are moving quickly through these verses.  I don't have them completely memorized, but it's coming!  I have been trying to keep the verses handy to pull out at different times during the day, so I can review, review, review.  John Piper has great insight on how to memorize a long passage of scripture.  I hope you find this helpful.  http://www.desiringgod.org/interviews/practical-tips-for-bible-memory

For this week our verse is Ephesians 3:20.  "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,"

We have been meditating on the immense scope of God's love.  Now we move on to another immense aspect of God, His power.  Several times in the previous verses Paul talks about the power that is at work in us.  In this verse, Paul encourages the church once again that God's power is working in us and is able to do more than we can even imagine.  Sometimes our lives seem so ordinary when we long to live extraordinary lives, but we have the God of the universe living in us who will do more than we can imagine by His great power!  Even when it seems God is not working, He is!  Eternity will show that though  our lives seem ordinary, God worked immeasurably in and through them.  

I am praying you will see God working in unimaginable ways in and through you.
