What is it? Incoming senior high school students are invited to attend a two-day camping trip with Pastor Steve and Jake Boerman. This will be a time of great fun in the outdoors, and a chance for you to connect with each other, with Pastor Steve and Jake, and to go deeper in your relationship with Jesus Christ. Do you have a question you've always wanted to ask about the Bible, about God, about church or about life? We will discuss any of those big life questions you may be seeking answers to.

Got a question? Email it ahead of time to Pastor Steve at church@wellspringcc.org and he will do his best to answer it on Monday night.

Who’s it for? Open to all students who will be seniors this fall.

When is it? Monday, August 7 through Tuesday, August 8. Please arrive at Wellspring at 7:30 am on Monday, as we will hit the road at 8:00am sharp. We will plan to return that Tuesday around 8:00 pm.

What do I bring? Download the packing list here!

What else do I need to know? All meals will be provided. Available activities will include boating, tubing, kayaking, fishing and swimming.

Email jboerman@wellspringcc.org if you have any questions about the Senior Camping Trip.

Ephesians 2:17-22(HCSB) “When the Messiah came, He proclaimed the good news of peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. So then you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with the saints, and members of God’s household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone. The whole building, being put together by Him, grows into a holy sanctuary in the Lord. You also are being built together for God’s dwelling in the Spirit.”

UNITED desires to be a community where students find their place. In a world that seeks to define people by outward appearance, United is committed to looking beyond the surface and to see the heart. It doesn’t matter where you have come from, what you have done or where you are now, God has a place for you here at UNITED. We exist to unite students to Christ, and to be united in the mission of Christ as we grow together in Him as the church.

This name is chosen for the three goals of the high school youth ministry. First, to UNITE students to Christ. Our relationship with Jesus is the first and only thing that matters in this world. If we get this wrong, then nothing else make sense. And when Jesus is in His rightful place in our lives, everything else can make sense. Being United with Jesus means peace, hope, love, security and purpose in life.

Second, we desire deeply to be united in Christ’s mission. We were once far off, separated from Him, without hope in the world, but He came and got us! We are now His hands, feet and voice to a dying world that lacks hope, peace and purpose. We know the solution to the problem and are committed to seeing the lost found and God’s kingdom established here on earth.

Third, to do these things in a close-knit community with each other as the church. Life is hard, and we were not created to do it alone. UNITED is a place that makes no distinctions based on outward appearance or labels the world may have given but chooses to see each other as God sees. We are committed to growing closer to each other and closer to Him as He builds us into a place where He is uniquely present. United is the church and the church is what Jesus has promised to build, and you are part of that.
