SUNDAY NIGHTS AT WELLSPRING • 4:30-6:30PM

Our 5th/6th grade ministry is called BaseFiveSix because we believe that students need a solid foundation, or BASE, that is built on Jesus Christ and their need to connect into Him. Our goal is to be a bridge that helps students solidify their faith in Jesus, or even come to know Him for the first time!

As students begin the transition from childhood into adolescence, we work to connect kids to Christ. During Sunday evenings, students will spend time reviewing studying God's word together, praying with and for one another, and intentionally meeting in small groups! At the end of each student’s time in BaseFiveSix, the goal is that they remain in Christ, remembering that apart from him they cannot grow.

Throughout the year, we will take time to ASK and ANSWER Big Questions. If your student uses our sermon note page or bookmark (available at the back of our sanctuary each week), they have the opportunity to ask a "Big Question" at the end of a sermon. This is a great opportunity to engage your student in a conversation about what they are learning on Sunday Mornings!

Your role as parent and/or caregiver is the most important role in your students' life! We are grateful you would choose us to join your team in raising up your students! Please email us if you have any questions!

MEET the BASEFIVESIX LEADERS

Our awesome leaders are adults who love Jesus and are passionate about bringing up the next generation of Kingdom Workers! Each week, they partner together to put snack together, lead small groups, help facilitate games, and intentionally to get to know your students as we create space for kids to learn about Jesus and be in community together!

SUNDAY NIGHTS AT WELLSPRING • 4:30-6:30PM

But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do." — James 1:25

In VERTICAL, 7th and 8th grade students build upon their BASE and begin applying what they have learned. We equip students on the mission God has called us all to by challenging them to stand up, get vertical and begin living it out in their daily lives. Our weekly meetings include a study of the scriptures and practical instruction on how they can relate it to their lives. Our goal is that when students leave VERTICAL, they will have matured in their faith, feeling prepared for the new challenges of young adulthood.

Ephesians 2:17-22(HCSB) “When the Messiah came, He proclaimed the good news of peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. So then you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with the saints, and members of God’s household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone. The whole building, being put together by Him, grows into a holy sanctuary in the Lord. You also are being built together for God’s dwelling in the Spirit.”

UNITED desires to be a community where students find their place. In a world that seeks to define people by outward appearance, United is committed to looking beyond the surface and to see the heart. It doesn’t matter where you have come from, what you have done or where you are now, God has a place for you here at UNITED. We exist to unite students to Christ, and to be united in the mission of Christ as we grow together in Him as the church.

This name is chosen for the three goals of the high school youth ministry. First, to UNITE students to Christ. Our relationship with Jesus is the first and only thing that matters in this world. If we get this wrong, then nothing else make sense. And when Jesus is in His rightful place in our lives, everything else can make sense. Being United with Jesus means peace, hope, love, security and purpose in life.

Second, we desire deeply to be united in Christ’s mission. We were once far off, separated from Him, without hope in the world, but He came and got us! We are now His hands, feet and voice to a dying world that lacks hope, peace and purpose. We know the solution to the problem and are committed to seeing the lost found and God’s kingdom established here on earth.

Third, to do these things in a close-knit community with each other as the church. Life is hard, and we were not created to do it alone. UNITED is a place that makes no distinctions based on outward appearance or labels the world may have given but chooses to see each other as God sees. We are committed to growing closer to each other and closer to Him as He builds us into a place where He is uniquely present. United is the church and the church is what Jesus has promised to build, and you are part of that.
