What's one goal you have for the next year?
Continue on the narrow road that leads to life, but I would like to read through the scriptures again. Memorize at least one verse a week for the year and memorize one of the epistles.
When and why did you first come to Wellspring?
Under interesting circumstances that I was in, I consider it godly timing. I was attending a large church in the area and something was promoted in the church that I was very uncomfortable with. At that moment, I had decided that I was no longer going to attend things had strayed what the scriptures I grew up to know and cherish. My college roommate invited me to Wellspring and a spring retreat that was on that weekend. I spent most of the night talking with Pastor Gary till probably 3 in the morning discussing spiritual things and I believe I have missed only a handful of services over the past several years, the ride has been incredible!
What's your proudest moment?
My marriage to my wonderful wife and experiencing the miracle of birth with my boys, that is certainly special.
What's something new that youve learned about the Bible lately that has surprised you?
I am constantly amazed at how Gods Word hits me new and fresh even if it's the same passage the I read over and over. His Word is alive and it is life changing.
What's your favorite movie?
The next new adventure movie that comes out, I love them all! Lord of the Rings is special to me cause the books really captivated me in high school.
What's your favorite season and why?
Fall, hunting, fishing, football, end of baseball season, high school football, college football, hockey, and basketball. GREAT time of the year. The leaves falling in Michigan its a beautiful time.
