Mark your calendar and plan to join us for one of our favorite Sundays of the year!
Instead of our usual two morning services, our entire Wellspring family will gather for one outdoor worship service out on the west lawn at 10:00am. At the conclusion of the service, we'll move inside for our Annual Congregational Meeting at 11:30, followed by an all-church family picnic with food, games, and hanging out together!
SCHEDULE
10:00 am: Outdoor Worship Service
Join us as our entire church family worships together on the lawn.
11:30 am: Annual Congregational Meeting
Following the service, we'll move indoors to the sanctuary for our yearly meeting.
Lunchtime: Church Family Picnic
After the meeting, stick around for lunch, fellowship, and fun for all ages at our picnic.
WHAT TO BRING
To help make the day comfortable, we encourage you to bring:
Lawn chairs or picnic blankets
Any soda or juice you'd like to enjoy
We'll provide:
Lunch
Water
Plates, utensils, and napkins
Limited seating for both worship and the picnic
WHAT ABOUT THIS PICNIC?
Food will be served in the South Hall.
Seating will be available in:
South AC
South Courtyard
Around the church grounds (blankets and lawn chairs encouraged)
It's a relaxed day, so feel free to spread out and enjoy the property together.
FUN FOR KIDS!
Kids will have plenty to enjoy during the picnic, including:
Yard games
Bounce houses
It's a great opportunity for families to spend time together and connect with others in the church.
ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING
The congregational meeting will take place inside the Sanctuary immediately following the worship service.
This year's membership votes will include:
Annual budget approval
Elder nominations
Deacon nominations
Child Care During the Meeting
Children through 4th grade may be checked in following the worship service (approximately 11:00–11:30 a.m.) and will attend their regular classrooms during the meeting.
Plans for older children are still being finalized. If no separate space is available, they should remain in the meeting with their parents. Children should not roam the building or remain outside unattended.
MEMBER VOTING & ABSENTEE BALLOTS
Following the worship service, members may check out ballots from Elders at designated tables before the meeting begins.
Completed ballots will be collected during the meeting.
Budget Q&A Opportunities
Have questions on the 2026-2027 budget before voting? Join us for a Budget Q&A:
August 9 • 10:30–11:00 a.m.
August 16 • 10:30–11:00 a.m.
Both sessions will be held upstairs in the main area.
Absentee ballots will also be available on August 9 and August 16 for members who need them.
